Fregosi channeling his inner Myron Florin, or possibly the future Weird Al
Yankovich....and Sal Bando's slight resemblance to Alfred E. Newman.

Just now realized after all these years that Fregosi's cap is airbrushed in the "now" photo! Never noticed that before.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and love it! 1972 was the next-to-last year that I collected cards until the boom in the late 80's. On this page, you have young Sal Bando card back for the Joe Torre card.

Thank you for nice words. I have the Bando back after the Bando front, but then reversed the back and front order on subsequent cards...I was trying to save some time in my photo gallery (card backs being before card fronts).
