Longtime Astro reserve outfielder....From 1970 to 1971 was relegated from 4^th outfielder to 5^th or 6^th.....closest to regular status: 1969 garnering 409 at bats, hitting .264, 50 RBIs ....decent but unspectacular....slumped the next year to .239...lost playing time thereafter....finished career in Atlanta in a very sparse role 1973-74.....blue collar player, hustling type who wanted to play...play semi-pro baseball at age 14....was a good football player in Van Nuys high school
